Hi, my name is Kathy Forsyth! I’ve been dealing with disability from chronic illnesses for over 10 years. The stress of being a single parent through a messy divorce and custody situation plus working full time in a cancer unit wasn’t kind to my health. I have asthma, chronic bronchitis, arthritis, GERD, osteoporosis, sleep apnea, fibromyalgia, CVID, which is an immune deficiency, and anxiety/depression. I started this blog looking for some purpose for my days. I’ve discovered the support of other chronic illness warriors along the way.
My dream is to inspire and encourage others with chronic health issues to dream new dreams, and be bold enough to pursue them. I haven’t mastered this life with chronic illness, but I would love to have you with me on the journey. My faith in Jesus colors my world, but I want you to know that no matter your faith perspective, you are welcome here.
I’m a single mom of six children ages 35 to almost 23. I had to quit my job as a registered nurse because of severe asthma and frequent respiratory infections. I love to get out in nature on walks, reading, writing, and creating art.
I would love to get toknow you and create a supportive community here! Please contact me about any topics you want to learn more about or with your observations about life with illness, or your questions. Subscribing to my blog will give you access to my Subscriber’s-only Resource Library. I would love to have you join me on this journey! Kathy
